An Email with the Subject "Good Day." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 05 Mar 2007 17:02:16 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as <patrick_lane@centrum.cz>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Good Day Dear, This is a personal email directed to you and I request that it be treated as such. I am Patrick Lane,a solicitor at law here in South Africa.I am the attorney to the late Randolf Williams who worked as an independent oil magnate here in my country South Africa he died in a car crash with his immediate family on the 4th of Feb,2006. Since the death of my client in Feb,2006, I have written several letters to the embassy with an intent to locate any of his extended relatives whom shall be claimants/beneficiaries of his abandoned Consignment presently in the custody of the finance company here in my country which contains the sum of $30,000,000.00 (Thirty million US dollars and all such efforts have been to no avail. Owing to the fact that his wife and daughter whom should have stand a better chance of claiming this consignments containg this fund also perished in that fatal car crash,I want you to stand in as the next of kin to late Mr.Randolf Williams .Like I earlier asserted,I have in my possession the necessary documents that will enable me to place you in,as the right beneficiary to my late client's fund in this firm.As personal lawyer to my late client, I cannot in any way claim it unless someone overseas does so. Just two weeks ago, I received a routine notification from the finance house concerning this fund, and the officials of this firm issued a warning, stressing the urgency for late Mr. Randolf,s relative or next of kin to come forward to claim this consignments containg the funds immediately or they will have it confiscated as an unclaimed consignments. This is the agreement they have reached at the company and they also reiterated that this is according to the company,s guidelines. Be informed that upon recieving of the consignments,you shall have 35% as your share, 5% for any expences that may be incure during the course of this transaction then 60% for me . I must remind you that trust and transpirency must be our watchword in the course of this transaction. I will discuss with you in details when I receive your response.
