An Email with the Subject "PLEASE ASSIST" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 18 May 2007 02:54:07 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as patrick radebe <prradebe2@yahoo.co.in>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.


Dear Sir/Madam,
 
I am a staff of one of the leading banks in South Africa I am writing asking for your indulgence in re-profiling funds, which we want to keep under your supervision. The Funds totaling  Seven million,four hundred thousand United State dollars only ($7,400,000). I am only contacting you as a foreigner because this fund cannot be approved to a local Bank here in South Africa, because the funds are in US Dollars and the owner of this account is Mr. Morris Thompson an American and he died since 2000 in an air crash along with his wife and Daughter on 31/01/2000 in an Alaska Airlines Flight 261 with other passengers on board.You can confirm from this
