An Email with the Subject "STAND AS NEXT OF KIN" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 12 Mar 2007 08:10:06 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Barrister Kwame Kuffour <barristerkwamekuffour@mybestmail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

I am the personal attorney to a national of your country, who was working with Ashanti gold mining coporation company in Ghana . Here in after shall be referred to as my client. On the 21st of April 2004, my client, his wife And their three children were involved in a car accident along Kumasi express road.All occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives.Since then I have made several enquiries to your embassy to locate any of my clients extended relatives this has also proved unsuccessful. I have contacted you to assist in repartrating the money and property left behind by my client before the fund will be confisicated or declared unserviceable by ECO BANK OF GHANA where the deceased had an account valued at about 5.5 million dollars the bank has issued a notice to provide the next of kin or have the account confisicated within the next ten official working days. Since I have been unsuccesfull in locating the the relatives for over 2years now I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since you have the same last name so that the proceeds of this account valued at 5.5 million dollars can be paid to you and then you and me can share the money. 50% to me and 45% to you while 5% will be keep aside for any expences incured during the transaction .
