An Email with the Subject "Dear friend," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 21 May 2015 04:13:15 -0700 (PDT) and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as akoum alem <akoum788alem@gmail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear friend, Greetings to you, I am contacting you for your assistance to resolve and transfer into your account the total sum $10.5 Million Dollars.in the respect of my late client. This my late client passed on in a fatal accident and I cannot get in touch with any of his relatives because he did not put down any WILL and he came to this country when he was a little child. I am compelled to do this because I would not want the bank to push my clientâs funds into the bank treasury as unclaimed inheritance and the amount involved is in a tune of US$10.5 million. He died without any registered next of kin and as such, the funds now have an open beneficiary mandate.so it will be very easy to make you become his official next of kin.
