An Email with the Subject "A recent change in your personal information" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 01 Jun 2015 06:54:42 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Eircom" <xx3@eircom.net>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

During our regularly scheduled account maintenance and verification procedures, we have detected a slight error in your account information.

This might be due to either of the following reasons:

  • A recent change in your personal information ( i.e.change of address).
  • Submitting invalid information during the initial sign up process.
  • An inabillity to accurately verify your selected option of payment due to an internal error within our processors.

Due to this, we require you to confirm and verify your account information by following the link below:

If your account information is not confirmed and verified within a certain period of time then your ability to access your account would become restricted.
