An Email with the Subject "Hello Dear Beneficiary," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 20 May 2015 18:52:45 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Eco bank director general <flie38056@gmail.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Before I commence I will like to explain myself to you, my name is MR JOE SMITH the new director officer of  Eco bank Benin Republic Plc West African, my dear, I want to use this opportunity to inform you that I am now the director and it have not been a month now, so I went through the scheme of work of this Honorable bank and find out that your name and your fund valued $2.5Billion united state dollars was here for six months.
 
So it amaze me so much and then I went to the office of IMF office Benin and reported this to them to know what is their aim and they told me that bank former director Rev John Chukwuemeka was the one that curse all this he collect money for peoples and then refuse to wired their fund to them, so my dear the Lord I serve will not allow such to happen here in my seat, so I hereby to declare to you now to get us your full information so that your fund will be wired into your account immediately without wasting time, I do not like betraying people and no one will do such to me.
