An Email with the Subject "Further Account Verification Required" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 07 May 2015 18:21:19 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Bank Of America <Amy@BankOfAmerica.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the Bank of America Online Banking system. We recently tried contacting you after we noticing an issue on your account . We request information from you for the following reason:

Our system requires further account verification.


To restore your account, please Sign in to Online Banking.

If we do no receive the appropriate account verification within 48 hours, then we will assume this Bank account is fraudulent and will be suspended. The purpose of this verification is to ensure that your bank account has not been fraudulently used and to combat the fraud from our community.
