An Email with the Subject "Re: NEXT OF KIN/BENEFICIARY" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 09 Apr 2015 18:07:46 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Henry Kofi Wampah" <henryk.wampah@post.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Good day, I am Mr Henry Kofi Wampah the Governor of Bank of Ghana. We write to inform you about a deceased from your country who was a Gold Merchant and Exporter, but died in a mining accident in Ghana in 2011. We are contacting you based on the fact that the deceased identified and named you as his beneficiary to the sum of US $16,800,000.00 he deposited in Bank of Ghana. The Judicial Service of Ghana advice that you forward your particulars to this office as soon as possible to enable us send them to the Chief Justice of Ghana and the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning for subsequent release and transfer of the funds to you since the payment has been approved by the above mentioned authorities.
