An Email with the Subject "E-mail Account Compromise" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 02 Dec 2014 16:06:54 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "IT Support Center" <it@tyih.gov.tr>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
We have observed that your email account password has been tried multiple times on another country's IP. We believe your email may have been hacked and we would have to disable your mail account within 48 hours from now so that your privacy will not be compromised. Do confirm your identity by sending the following: USER NAME; EMAIL ADDRESS; DATE OF BIRTH; CURRENT PASSWORD. After receiving these information's, your email will be set not be to accessible outside this country. We don't normally like to interrupt you, but security is really important to us.
