   My reason for writing you is to reach out to you, letting you know
we at Beacon Of Hope organizes Non Profit,  nongovernmental charity
events that reaches the poor and destitute in poor communities in
South Africa, an event to assist the needy and poor within the
community {THESE ARE SLUMS DWELLERS WHO CAN'T AFFORD R10/US $ 1 A DAY}
INTRODUCTION (We need your helping Hand) This is a Non Governmental
Charity Events which was initiated on January 2013 ,we are registered
In South Africa with the DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, with
NPO#123-745



       I am writing to you in faith and hope that with your good heart
you will be in a position to help us raise our sponsorship target of
feeding, clothing and touching 300 souls in our upcoming  quarterly
event coming up , the funds/ food/ clothes/ product raised
from you will go to Beacon of Hope charity Organization.

Beacon of hope charity organization is a registered nonprofit
organization in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa providing support,
counseling and needs to raise substantial funds, food, product and
clothing to maintain the service that people who are less privileged
to overcome the barriers that impede their independence and
participation in the society.

The theme of our Event is titled Beacon of Hope's Two Fish And Live Loaves,
Feeding The Multitudes
Project  focuses on providing healthy, nutritional meals to
those individuals in our target communities, who cannot afford a
proper meal on a regular basis. Our target communities include
informal settlements, foster care house, safe houses and facilities
for aged and impoverished communities in South Africa



The project is entirely reliant on food, clothes and monetary
donations by the public and corporate donors. The number of people
that can be fed or clothed is totally dependent on the size of the
contributions. Beacon of Hope staff is constantly seeking out new
avenues for funding this project. The aim of this project is to feed
as many people possible, as many times as to make a real impact on
alleviating hunger and malnutrition in our target communities.

 Beacon of Hope's objective in this event is to provide food hamper
to about 100 families in selected poor communities. This food hampers
consist of 2.5 kg maize meal, corned beef, pilchards, baked beans,
Soya, salt, soap for laundry, matches, yeast.


Our proposed budget for food hampers for a 100 families each family
consisting of four members;

Each food hampers consist of 2.5 kg maize meal, corned beef,
pilchards, baked beans, Soya, salt, soap for laundry, matches, yeast.
Each hamper goes for an estimate of R300/US$30(THREE HUNDRED
RANDS/THIRTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS), multiply by targeted 100 families
it results to R30000/US$3000(THIRTY THOUSAND RANDS/THREE THOUSAND
UNITED STATES DOLLARS)

Our proposed budget for  food hampers for a 300 families each family
consisting of four members;

 

Each food hampers consist of 2.5 kg maize meal, corned beef, pilchards, baked
beans, Soya, salt, soap for laundry, matches, yeast. Each hamper goes for an
estimate of R300/US $30(THREE HUNDRED RANDS/THIRTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS),
multiply by targeted 300 families it results to R90000/US$9000(NINTY THOUSAND
RANDS/NINE THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS)

 

 

Here at Beacon of Hope we believe if we can control the level of poverty in
these communities we can control the problems that results from its impact, we
also believe that many less privileged people living in these communities just
need a little support and reaching out to get through with their plans in
life, we also believe that many children and youths in these communities has a
brighter future if only we can reach out to them, and in reaching out to these
people we at Beacon of Hope wants you to be part of it.

It's truly  a hard life in these places, very hard, here at Beacon of Hope our
visions  makes it through each and every day because we believe, we believe
with your help we can contribute to make life better, we believe against all
odd and all evidence that you will support or partner with us to  reach out to
these societies in attempts to alleviate poverty,  we believe with your support
we can make the living condition of some family's tomorrow better than today,
