An Email with the Subject "Halifax Online Service Message" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 26 May 2014 15:24:14 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as =?koi8-r?B?c2VydmljZUBoYWxpZmF4LmNvLnVr?= <gclrbs@bigpond.net.au>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Please note that starting from June 2014 we will be introducing new online banking authentication
procedures in order to protect the private information of all online banking users.You are required to confirm your
online banking details with us as you will not be able to have access to your accounts until this has been done.
As you're already registered for online banking all you need to do is to confirm your online banking details.
