An Email with the Subject "Your account might be place on restricted status" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 21 Sep 2007 09:23:39 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Wells Fargo Online <ofsrep.alertigw@wellsfargo.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Your account might be place on restricted status. Restricted accounts continue to receive payments, but they are limited in their ability to send or withdraw funds. To lift up this restriction, you need to login into your account (with your username or SSN and your password),then you have to complete our verification process. You must confirm your credit card details and your billing information as well. All restricted accounts have their billing information unconfirmed, meaning that you may no longer send money from your account until you have updated your billing information on file.
