An Email with the Subject "Important - Fraud Alert" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 15 Aug 2006 09:14:14 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Texas Dow Employees Credit Union" <service@tdecu.org>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

We recently reviewed your account, and suspect that your TDECU Online Banking account may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Protecting the security of your account and of the TDECU network is our primary concern. Therefore, as a preventative measure, we have temporarily limited access to sensitive account features.
