Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Dear Wachovia Bank customer" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 03 Nov 2007 11:11:44 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "wachovia.com" <onlinebanking@wachovia.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

After updates :
1.Login to your Wachovia Online Banking account. In case you are not enrolled for Online Banking, you will have to fill in all the required information, including your name and you account number.
2. Review your recent account history for any unauthorized withdrawals or deposits, and check you account profile to make sure not changes have been made. If any unauthorized activity has taken place on your account, report this to Wachovia Bank staff immediately.
