An Email with the Subject "Automated Notice (Phishing Precaution)" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 06 Sep 2007 06:23:35 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Abbey National Bank Plc. <internetsecurity@abbey.co.uk>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Internet Banking service, you automatically benefit from our Internet Banking Promise.

We are contacting you to remind you that our Account Review Team identified some
unusual activity in your account. In accordance with Wachovia Online Banking
User Agreement and to ensure that your account has not been accessed from fraudulent
locations, Your Online Access to your account has been limited. Your Online account access
will remain limited until this issue has been resolved.
You are required to Re-Confirm your Online access for online banking Authenticity.

Once you have Re-Confirm your Online Access your Wachovia Bank account
service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
