An Email with the Subject "Please Take 5-10 Minutes Out of Your Online Experience And Update And Verify Your RBS Account!!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 20 Feb 2007 04:03:13 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as RBS Digital Banking. <services@update.rbs.co.uk>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

We are currently upgrading our ssl servers to enable a fast and secure online Banking services to all our Customers .We hereby advise all our Customers to update their RBS Digital online Banking details for future online Banking safety. These is a part of our continuing commitment to protect your account and to reduce the instance of fraud on Our website.

If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your billing records so that you will not run into any future problems with our online banking service.

However, failure to update your records may result online service suspension.
Once you have updated your account records, your RBS Digital online session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
