An Email with the Subject "Bank Of America Security Alert: Online Account Update Notification." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 22 Dec 2006 05:00:49 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Bank Of America Online <customerservice@alert.bankofamerica.com >.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

A recent change in your personal information (ie change of address). 2. Submitting invalid information during the initial enrollment process. 3. We demand that you take 5 minutes out of your online experience and renew your records to avoid running into any future problems with the online service. However, failure to update your records will result in your account suspension. Once you have updated your account records your internet banking service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.
