An Email with the Subject "JPM Chase Bank Security Notification of Unauthorized Account Access" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 17 Apr 2006 15:44:42 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as JPM Chase Security <notice@emergency.chase.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your
ChaseOnline Banking account from a foreign IP address and
we have reasons to believe that your account was accessed by
a third party without your authorization.
If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the
unusual log in attempts may have initiated by you.
However if you are the rightful holder of the account,
please click on the link below login with your User ID
and
Password and please add at least one card to the Chase
Electronic Identity Verification Program
( part of the U.S. EIVP )
If you choose to ignore our request,
you leave us no choice but to temporally suspend your

We ask that you allow at least 48hrs for the case to be
investigated and we strongly recommend not making any
changes to your account in that time.
