An Email with the Subject "Australian Taxation Office - Refund Notification" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 23 Dec 2013 15:24:08 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Australian Taxation Office" <noreply@ato.gov.au>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Australian Taxation Office - 12/24/2013

After the last calculation of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to 
receive a refund of 7239.96 AUD.


- Right-click the link on the attachment name, and select Save Link As, Save Target As or a similar 
option provided.
- Select the location into which you want to download the file and choose Save.
- Unzip the attached file.
