An Email with the Subject "Outstanding Invoice" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 20 Dec 2013 06:44:22 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "E.stmt.adv@hsbc.co.uk" <E.stmt.adv@hsbc.co.uk>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Please find the attached copy invoice which is showing as unpaid on our ledger.

I would be grateful if you could look into this matter and advise on an expected payment date .
