An Email with the Subject "Confidential Letter !!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 26 Sep 2012 09:00:04 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Youssef Raouf Boutros Ghali" <abevent@4u.com.gh>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear Sir/Madam. I knew this mail will obviously comes to your surprises, Please i am writing you to seek your confidential help. Mr name is Youssef Raouf Boutros Ghali,former finance Minister under Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak,who resigned under intense pressure from protesters. l have been charged for corruption but the court has cleared me. when i was the Finance Minister I had the sum of US$50 million,which was deposited in security Company Overseas under the assistant of President Muhammad Hosni El Sayed Mubarak of Egypt but as of now he has been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Government. l need your assistant for us to re-lodge this fund into a private account under my assistant as the depositor, which will benefit for both of us.
