An Email with the Subject "YOUR URGENT REPLY IS NEEDED." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 24 Oct 2011 02:33:03 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Mr.Ibrahim Buba" <ibrahim_buba@voila.fr>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
My dear good friend, How are you today hope all is fine..... I am Mr, Ibrahim Buba. From Burkina Faso West Africa. I am a banker at the BANK OF AFRICA (B.O.A). I am contacting you to seek your interest over a business deal of us$ 15.7,000.000.00, to transfer it to your account. The depositor of the said fund died with his entire family during the Iraq war in 2004. The customer used his wife as the next of kin but unfortunately, the wife and the only daughter died along side with him leaving nobody for the claim. According to our banking law, if the fund remains unclaimed for (9) years then, the fund will be transferred into the reserve bank as unclaimed bill, and if the fund is been transferred into reserve bank as unclaimed bill the top directors will share it among themselves. I don't want the fund to go into the bank treasury account as unclaimed bill, which is the reason why I want to transfer the fund to you as the next of kin. Let us claim the fund the percentage will be 50% - 50%. I will present you to my bank as his cousin or business partner so that my bank will transfer the fund into your bank account for us to share it, contact me for more details, but if you are not capable please notify me.
