An Email with the Subject "STAT FOUNDATION" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 11 Apr 2008 22:34:17 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "STAT FOUNDATION" <hldassets@for40.co.uk>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
This email confirms that you have received from the Stat Foundation an official notification of your lottery winning in the recent weekly draw. In accordance with the world lottery ordnance, you are authorized as the official lottery prize winner to immediately file in for your claims upon receipt of this mail. Winners are randomly selected systematically through our Electronic Random Selection System; (ERSS) no ticket was sold.
