An Email with the Subject "[!! SPAM] Contact Mr Li Kai Cheong" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 18 Aug 2011 00:50:12 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "ozgeyetik" <ozgeyetik@dumlupinar.edu.tr>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
I am Mr. Li Kai-cheong the Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of East Asia. My client who died with his wife and only child in a bomb blast made a fixed deposit of $26.5 million in my branch, I need you as a foreigner to act as the next of kin to get this fund for us.
