An Email with the Subject "From John Bright" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 25 Dec 2010 08:06:50 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as " Bright"<johnbright1961@rediffmail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Hello, My name is John Bright, I am an American soldier in peace keeping force in Iraq and serving in the military of the 1st Armored Division in Iraq . As you know insurgents attack us daily. We succeeded in moving funds belonging to Saddam Hussein's family totaling US $23 Million dollars in cash and would like to transfer this money to you for safe keeping till we can come over to meet you and for your efforts we would give you 40% while the remaining 60% will be for my partners and I.
