An Email with the Subject "FROM THE DESK OF MR JOHN MARK" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 04 Dec 2010 11:52:04 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as John Mark <johnmark205@gmail.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Hello I work with a bank In West Africa,Burkina faso .I have a business transaction for you. In my department we discovered an abandoned sum of $10.5 Million US Dollars .In an account that belongs to one of our foreign customer who died along with his entire family in car bomb in Iraq. Since his supposed next of kin died along side with him at the Bomb blast,there is nobody to claim the left over balance in the account.It is therefore upon this discovery that I and other officials in my department decided to seek your assistance and present you to the bank as his Next of kin.
