An Email with the Subject "Attention" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 16 Oct 2010 01:46:01 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL"<vincencians@religious.com>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

and character it is dedicated to helping anyone in need.

Each year the St Vincent De Paul Society is supported by the generosity of individuals, churches, 
schools, community groups, corporations, philanthropic trusts and volunteers. The varieties of 
support are used to assist people all over the world.

Great philanthropist from different part of the world donated generously during the Lent/Easter 
season this year, 2010. Amounting to overall deficit of $5,623,807:00 (Five million six hundred and 
twenty three thousand eight hundred and seven USD)
We (SVP) have been order by the Vatican Council His Holiness’ Pope Benedict XVI to distribute and 
share this surplus fund to the less-privilege and the poor people all over the world to reduce and 
minimize their sufferings.

The phrase (poor and less privilege) in this document strictly refer to the handicap, the jobless, 
the sick and the old people that are helpless in the society).

By this medium we believe to reach the poor and the less-privilege as quoted in paragraph 5 above. 
This alleviation program is only for these categories listed below.
