An Email with the Subject "CONTRACT 1" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 21 Feb 2010 22:46:07 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "DR DAVID HERITAGE"<burgs007@internode.on.net>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Subject: CONTRACTS 1 Board of Directors, FOCF PLC. HEAD OFFICE Dear Beneficiary, FINANCIAL ORGANISATION FOR CONTRACT FUNDS. We at the FOCF in conjunction with the world bank have been contacted by Engr/Mr. David Heritage Chief Auditor for The Federal Government Contract Reserve Funds, he is the man who was in charge of securing the release of some money accrued from the over invoicing of the Contract/Inheritance and Next Of Kin that was awarded by The Government. Though we were told you were not able to assist him conclude the transaction, I'm happy to inform you about his success in getting the funds transferred under the assistance and cooperation of a new partnership with our company,which is also in contract with the Government to handle the remittance.
