An Email with the Subject "NOTIFICATION OF YOUR WON PRIZE!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 15 Feb 2010 13:58:59 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "''CHEVRON OIL & GAS COMPANY''<chevrondraws@live.com>" <dwn@netvigator.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
CHEVRON OIL & GAS COMPANY has offered you the prize sum of USD$500,000.00 in the on-going email balloting held for the month of January 2010.
