An Email with the Subject "WAITING FOR YOUR RESPONSE" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 07 Feb 2010 03:34:55 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "prof.Andrew Smith"<prof_andsmi@live.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Attention: Dear Friend, I am a Diplomat named prof.Andrew Smith,mandated to deliver your inheritance to you in your country of residence. The funds total US$7.5M and you were made the beneficiary of these funds by a benefactor whose details will be revealed to you after handing over the funds to you in accordance with the Agreement I signed with the benefactor when he enlisted my assistance in delivering the funds to you. I am presently at JFK Airport in the United States of America,before I can deliver the funds to you,re-confirm -: 1.Full Name, 2.Residential Address 3.Age 4.Occupation 5.Direct Telephone Numbers So as to ensure that I am dealing with the right person.
