Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Urgent Attention" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 24 Nov 2009 04:48:24 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Mr. Patrick Chan"<patchn2003@yahoo.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
My name is Patrick Chan, the Principal Assurance manager for the Hang Seng Bank in Hong Kong. The sum of $22,500.000.00USD is in my possession. I do solicit for your assistance in moving these funds out of my bank. I intend to give you 40% of the total funds as compensation for your assistance. I would respectfully request that you keep the contents of this mail confidential and respect the integrity of the information you come by as a result of this mail. I contact you independently and no one is informed of this communication.
