Search Scamdex & Scamalot
An Email with the Subject "Restore your online account" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 20 Jan 2010 09:13:04 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as Bank of America<memberservice@bankofamerica.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
Dear customer We regret to inform you that your Bank of America Online Account has been temporarily suspended. Your account has been suspended after too many failed login attempts have been made. This is most likely an attempt to gain unauthorized access to your account and/or personal information. To resolve this problem we have attached a form to this email.
