An Email with the Subject "Security alert Online Access Suspended" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 05 Aug 2008 05:10:53 -0400 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "alert Lloyds TSB"<alert@LloydsTSB.co.uk>.

The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.


Dear Lloyds TSB Customer,

  We recently have determined that different computers have logged in your Lloyds TSB Online Banking account, and multiple password failures were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us. If this is not completed with or within 5hrs of this mail, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner. In order to confirm your Online Bank records, we may require some specific information from you. Please Click Here To Start.


However, Failure to do so may result in temporary account suspension. Please understand that this is a security measure intended to help protect you and your account. We apologize for any inconvenience.
