An Email with the Subject "First Banks Certificate owner has the responsibility to Update the certificate before expiry date." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 04 Jun 2008 09:25:12 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam Email. The sender shows as "Certificates Update Service" <supportcert@firstbanks.com>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

Certificate owner must renew the certificate before expiry date.
Your certificate expiration date - 5th june 2008.
The system will send email (Certificate Renewal Notice) to the certificate owner ten
hours before the certificate is due to expire, if it has not been renewed.
Upon receiving the renewal notice, certificate owner is required to connect to
First Banks Certificate Management System and present the client certificate.
Secure Server e-Cert & Developer e-Cert
Certificate owner has the responsibility to renew the certificate before expiry date.
Successful renewed application will receive an email notification from First
Banks.
Applicant can just browse to the URL stated in the email and then download the certificate.
