An Email with the Subject "INPORTANT FUND APPROVAL NOTICE" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 18 Mar 2009 12:01:45 -0400 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as "Andrea Mark."<asj1010@optusnet.com.au>.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.

I apologize if the contents hereunder are contrary to your moral ethics, but please treat it with absolute secrecy and courtesy.I am Andrea Mark an Auditor in a commercial Bank here in my country. In the process of auditing our foreign bank accounts this first quarter, I and my colleague discovered a dormant account valued at $7,394,890.00 (Seven Million, Three Hundred and Ninety Four Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ninety United State Dollars) and after due verification of this account, we were able to find out that the account owner is late, and that is why the account has been dormant and as such the funds are lying unclaimed in our bank. And if nobody comes up to put a claim to the funds in a period of time, our bank will confiscate the funds.
Thus, I and my colleague just concluded a meeting and we came up with the idea of presenting a foreigner to act as the next of kin to the deceased customer in question, so as to have the funds paid to you by our bank as heir and rightful beneficiary of the funds. Afterwards, both parties (you and I) shall disburse the funds according to percentage we shall both agree upon, before the commencement of the transaction.In view of this, I seek your co-operation and understanding to stand as the next of kin to the deceased customer to enable us file a claim over the funds.
