An Email with the Subject "****Dear Beneficiary****" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 07 Jul 2010 07:30:38 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam Email. The sender shows as sentot@nafed.go.id.
The email address was probably spoofed. Do not reply to or contact any persons or organizations referenced in this email, or follow any URLs as you may expose yourself to scammers and, at the very least, you will be added to their email address lists for spam purposes.
This is to notify you that there is a fund tagged ($500,000USD)"Lottery Winning Prize" deposited by a lottery fiduciary agent to be transferred to the owner of this email address. For security reasons and to avoid misappropriation of funds, proper verifications must be carried out before the fund is transferred.
