A Scam Email with the Subject "FROM MARRISTON." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 20 Aug 2004 12:45:06 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was =?iso-8859-1?q?marriston=20williams?= <marristonwilliams3000@yahoo.fr>, although it may have been spoofed.

Permit me to inform you of my desire of going into
business relationship with you. I got your name and
contact from the internet when I was searching for a
reliable and trustworthy person and I prayed over it
and selected your name among other names due to its
esteeming nature and the recommendations given to me
as a reputable and trust worthy person that I can do
business with and by the recommendation , I must not
hesitate to confide in you for this simple and sincere
business .
   
I am Marriston Williams the only son of late  Mr. and
Mrs.joshua Williams. My father was a very  wealthy 
cocoa merchant in Abidjan , the economic  capital of 
Ivory coast, my father was poisoned to  death by his 
business associates on one of their  outings on a
business trip .
   
My mother died when I was a baby and since then my
father took me so special. Before the death of my
father on November 2002 in a private hospital here in
Abidjan he secretly called me on his bed side and 
told me that he has the sum of seventy million ,five
hundred thousand United State
Dollars.USD($70.500,000)which he deposited in a
security company in Europe and he used my name as his
only son for the next of Kin in depositing of the fund
and the security company did not know the real
contents of the box,according to my father, he said
that he deposited it a box containing family valuables
and also in it was 250 alluvial gold dust of 18ks
each. 

He also explained to me that it was because of this
wealth that he was poisoned by his business
associates. That I should seek for a foreign partner
in a country of my choice where I will transfer this
money and use it for investment purpose such as real
estate management or hotel management. 
   
Dear, I am honourably seeking your assistance in the
following ways:
(1) To help me travel down to Europe and retrieve this
consignment and lodge it into your account. 

(2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since I am    
only 22 years.
(3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your
    country to  further my education and to secure a
    resident permit in your country.
   
Moreover, Dear I am willing to offer you 15% of the
total sum of the money and the gold dust after you
might have find a buyer for it. 

I will forward all the necessary documents to you as
soon as you are sincerely and willingly to help me and
I will also like to have your phone and fax number for
easier communication and the most important thing to
this transaction is confidentiality for my safety.

Please I need your urgency in this transaction because
my condition in this country is not pleasing and know
body is helping me here as an orphan also coupled with
the political crisis here for more than a year now.
