A Scam Email with the Subject "Profile Verification" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 11 Aug 2015 12:48:40 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was PayPal Security Services <customer@securityteam.com>, although it may have been spoofed.


Dear Valued Recipient,

We have limited your account due to an intrusion by unauthorized users (geolocation analysis shows 
that it wasn't you).

The time it takes to restore the access usually varies. Depending on the type of issue, it may take 
us a few hours or days to resolve the problem.
We may limit your account as a security measure to protect you and your account.

We have sent you a form through this email which you may download (see attachment). We kindly ask 
you to provide some information in regards to your profile.

We will restore access to your account as soon as our security team reviews your information.
