A Scam Email with the Subject "PayPal Security Notification of Limited Account Access" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Mon, 14 Jan 2008 02:48:33 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "PayPal"<>, although it may have been spoofed.

This notification was sent by PayPal in Plain Text format. It is possible that your email address 
can not receive HTML format emails. In these circumstances PayPal forwards Plain Text format emails.

Security Center Advisory!

We recently noticed one or more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address 
and we have reasons to belive that your account was hijacked by a third party without your 
authorization. If you recently accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts 
may have been initiated by you.

If you are the rightful holder of the account you must click the link below and then complete all 
steps from the following page as we try to verify your identity.

If you are not the rightful owner of the account and you have received this notification please be 
informed that PayPal colaborates with the Police and the Government authorities and your acts will 
be punished according with the law.

If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choise but to suspend your account
