A Scam Email with the Subject "Dear Sir/Madam," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Thu, 03 May 2007 10:23:52 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was "ben mataruse" <>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Sir/Madam,

l apologise for reaching you through this means without notification. lnaddition, it came up as a result of urgent attention needed.Moreover,l am Benjamin Mataruse 17years with my younger sister 15years,a son to late Sir and Madam Mataruse, who were killed in my country home Zimbabwe recently cold blooded by unknown but suspected to be assassins. Unfortunately for my younger sister Sophia, she became dumb folded during that very night due to explosives discharges used by the unknown during the massacre,fortunately,my father confided to me some papers used in making this deposit in the bank forth night ago before this incidence.

Before the recent killing of my late parents, my father deposited some money in a bank the huge sum of US$15.5million dollars in cote d’lvoire where he worked before he entered into politics in my country home for upward investment in abroad. Due to my sister health l went to the bank to confirm the deposit and equally withdraw some money for her treatment in abroad but the bank could not, according to them, my father had an agreement with them that the money could be transfer into his investors account for establishment of a large scale business.

Subsequently, this is why l am contacting you because no name was given as his investor in abroad and also want you to stand as my late fathers investor whom he gave the power to oversees our welfare besides regards to my sisters health would equally make a means of our travelling to your country for my education and as well where she could be treat as soon as the transfer is made.

l would like you to indicate your full indicate by providing me with the following as required by the bank

(b) Your office and home addresses
(c) Your Fax number
(d) Your home and private phone number
