A Scam Email with the Subject "Your Barclays Online Account is about to expire." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 09 Jun 2006 14:54:46 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Barclays Online Banking"<service@barclays.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.

Please note that your Barclays Online Account is about to expire. In order for it to remain active and avoid a temporal hold on your funds, we need you to update your personal information, this is also a new security statment to give our customers a better, fast and secure online banking service.
