A Scam Email with the Subject "Renew your account with us" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sun, 10 Sep 2006 16:52:28 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "Online Banking " <customercare@usbank.com>, although it may have been spoofed.

Other Banks Promise Great Service, U.S. Bank Guarantees it.
 

We are contacting you to remind you that on 10 September 2006 our Account Review Team identified some unusual activity in your account. In accordance with U.S. Bank User Agreement and to ensure that your account has not been compromised, access to your

account was limited. Your account access will remain limited until this issue has been resolved.

We have been notified that a card associated with your account has been reported as

lost or stolen, or that there were additional problems with your card.
