A Scam Email with the Subject "Recent Financial Theft" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Sat, 09 Jun 2012 13:33:39 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was Barclays PLC <03120230@westnet.com.au>, although it may have been spoofed.


Barclays is constantly protecting the accounts of its old & new customers,we found out there has been some Irregular activities in your account, so we need you to verify your online access to your account to enable us know that you are the owner of the account. As a result, we need you to download the attached file and fill the requested information.
