A Scam Email with the Subject "Re: Your long-lost or unknown relative" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 19 Oct 2011 15:19:28 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was Authorize Bureau <>, although it may have been spoofed.

We have contacted you because we have carried out research into a dormant account of your long-lost or unknown relation and heirs are unknown,The account has a significant amount of money in it (750,000.00 USD). An account is judged to be dormant if there has been no activity in it, or contact with the client, for 15 years.
The treasury department receives the unclaimed money unless, a previously unknown distant relative email is found; a descendant from the same ancestor like you is found to inherit within a limited time-frame.
