A Scam Email with the Subject "HSBC Alert! Update Your Online Banking Information" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 19 Apr 2011 20:56:52 -0700 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was HSBC Bank plc <customerservice@hsbc.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.



Dear Customer,

Our security team observed that your account was logged on unusually, which
might be as a result of sharing your personal account's
details with unknow person. Issuing this security message to you, is to ensure that
you don't have any problem with your account.

Therefore, you are advised to get the account re-updated through the HSBC Online security
service link below and keep the account's detail alone with you.
