A Scam Email with the Subject "Email Alert!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Tue, 18 Jan 2011 09:33:57 -0800 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was Halifax <noreply@halifax.co.uk>, although it may have been spoofed.

Dear Halifax Customer,

We recently have discoverd that different computers have logged onto your Internet Banking account, and multiple failure security question and answer were present before the logons. We now need you to re-confirm your account information to us.

If this is not completed byJanuary 27, 2011, we will be forced to suspend your account indefinitely, as it may have been used for fraudulent purposes. We thank you for your cooperation in this manner.
