A Scam Email with the Subject "UNITED NATIONS COMPENSATION UNIT" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 12 Nov 2010 22:20:35 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was "UNITED NATIONS" <>, although it may have been spoofed.

The UNITED NATIONS has agreed to compensate all the people that had an 
unfinished transaction or international Fund transfer 

that failed due to Government problem or those that have been Defrauded in 
the Internet by dubious Individuals.The sum of 

US$550,000.00 was issued to each of you .We found your name in our list as
