A Scam Email with the Subject "Contact Western Union and pick your fund," was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Fri, 21 May 2010 12:54:34 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was Jon Barnard <>, although it may have been spoofed.

The Board of Federal Ministry of Finance Benin Republic are hereby to notify you of your payment inherited funds of $1.8M Dollars.After the meeting held on 23rd of June 2009.His Exelence the President of Federal Republic Of Benin,Dr.YAYI BONI had Instructed this Department to send your funds through western  union money transfer for making it easier for receiving your inherinted funds without any further delay to avoid paying money to the fraud stars that is going on through the global.You are required to reconfirm to them below information to enable them verify and send your Fund through western union as soon as you meet up with the directives of the
