A Scam Email with the Subject "WRITE BACK." was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 17 Mar 2010 07:31:06 -0700 and has been classified as a Advance Fee Fraud/419 Scam. The sender was mayabe johnson <firstname.lastname@example.org>, although it may have been spoofed.
Dear Friend, Greeting to you and your family, I am Mr. Johnson Mayabe the auditing and accounting section manager in AFRICAN DEVELOPMENTBANK (A.D.B) Ouagadougou Burkina Faso. I need your urgent assistance in transferring the sum of ($39.5) million to your account within 10 or14 banking days. This money has been dormant for years in our bank with out claim. I want the bank to release the money to you as the nearest person to our deceased customer. I don't want the money to go into our bank treasurer as an abandoned fund. so this is the reason why I contacted you so that the bank can release the money to you as the next of kin to the deceased customer.
