A Scam Email with the Subject "Update Security Information!!!" was received in one of Scamdex's honeypot email accounts on Wed, 20 Jan 2010 13:09:23 -0800 and has been classified as a Generic Scam. The sender was HSBC Bank PLC <>, although it may have been spoofed.

 We required you to take time to Confirm your online Access Profile. Failure to Confirm Your Online Access profile could result in your Online Access being  Temporarily Suspended. Temporarily Suspended Online Access would continue to receive payments,

 But are Limited in their ability to send or withdraw funds. You are required to confirm your Online Access profile to prevent this. To initiate this process use the  Logon below. Help us keep our bank Safe from Online Fraud.
